A local family hub is among local groups who have received financial support from Salisbury Reds this week - thanks to our Community Fund.
Imagine This, partnered with St Paul’s Church and based in Salisbury city centre, offers Early Years, Intergenerational and Special Educational Needs Sessions - as well as mother and baby support, with a focus on supporting families in social economic hardship, and tackling loneliness within the city.
“We aim to reach as many families as possible, through offering a safe, welcoming and interactive setting in which families feel supported,” said Rebecca Stoodley from Imagine This.
“Through our services, we signpost individuals to professional support, and also work with other community organisations including St Paul’s Church, local primary schools, speech therapists and community dieticians. These links allow us to offer targeted support where it is needed the most.”
Kirsty Agate, also from Imagine This, added: “We work incredibly hard and long hours do all this, but we also rely on support from local companies, and were pleased to be able to apply to Salisbury Reds’ community fund for a donation. We were delighted to then receive £380, which will be put to very good use in our work with some of the city’s most vulnerable families.”
Salisbury Reds general manager, Andrew Sherrington, said: “Imagine This is a perfect example of a group doing excellent work within our local area - and it’s exactly what our community fund is designed for. We are pleased to be supporting such a worthy cause.”
Salisbury Reds’ community fund is open for applications in April and October. Other recipients in the October 2025 allocation include Friends of St Andrews, Exeter House School PTA, Salisbury Plain Military Wives Choir, and Friends of Broadchalke School.
