Fares changes from 3rd September

Our fares are changing as of Sunday 3rd of September
Like everywhere, our costs are continuing to rise and we need to increase our fares in order to continue offering the comprehensive service we provide. These tickets still offer great value for money.
For regular travellers, for best value, we recommend you buy your period and day bundle tickets on the Reds mobile app.
For single journeys the good news is the Department for Transport £2 fare cap scheme is in place until 31 October. However, some other single and returns will increase between 10 and 20p.
ADULT 7 day ticket paper withdrawal
From 3 September, ADULT 7 day tickets will only be available to buy on our app, or via our on board payment option, Tap On Tap Off. If you are using tap on tap off please make sure you use the same contactless card each time. If you are looking for a receipt, head on over to our Tap On Tap Off portal where you can view all of your transactions and download receipts.
We are keen to become more sustainable and by withdrawing paper 7 day tickets, we will significantly reduce the amount of paper and the sticky security wallets - which is much better for the environment.
CHILD 7 day tickets will still be available to buy from the driver.
NEW 7 day ticket app subscription
We will be introducing a new 7 day ticket option on our app. This will be a subscription service which is a more cost effective option than purchasing your ticket on a weekly basis.
The new 7 day subscription ticket will renew automatically every 7 days, until you want to opt out of future purchases.

Some singles and returns will increase between 10-20p. However, all single bus fares are currently capped at £2 until 31 October, thanks to the Department for Transport scheme which is funded by UK Government.
