Travel across the region for less this World Car Free Day

We are marking World Car Free Day - Friday 22 September - by offering discounted travel to anyone using our app for the first time!

We are committed to encouraging more people to use sustainable transport in-and-around Salisbury, and World Car Free Day supports us on this mission. The initiative is aimed at easing congestion, as well as improving air quality by promoting sustainable transport to motorists as alternative methods of travel.

At Reds, we welcome any initiative designed to reduce the harmful effects exhaust emissions have on the environment.

Many buses in our fleet are among the newest and cleanest in the region. Over recent years, we invested heavily and worked with Wiltshire Council to bring electric buses to our park and ride services here. 

World Car Free Day ties in perfectly with what we are trying to achieve in Salisbury. Buses provide the perfect and affordable solution to reducing air pollution, so we’re proud to have invested millions of pounds in improving the comfort and reliability of our services here.

We are offering 15 percent off an adult Dayrider ticket on Friday 22 September, if you are using our app for the first time.  

To take advantage of the offer, you will need to download our app and use the code CARFREE when buying a ticket for the first time. On our app, you can also plan your journey, find timetables and services updates, and track our buses in live time.
