Rainbow tribute bus

4 weeks ago Tue 5th May 2020

We are delighted to unveil our special ‘rainbow’ bus - in tribute to Wiltshire’s key workers.

Many key workers travel on our bus services for essential travel across Salisbury and the surrounding area, and we are keen to show  our thanks and appreciation to those carrying out vital roles in region.

Our drivers, who are also key workers, are proud to be helping local heroes travel to  Salisbury District Hospital and other locations here, so with this in mind, we wanted to show our appreciation for everything key workers are doing for those living within our community.

So many of us owe them a debt of gratitude, not only during these troubling times, but always. Our ‘rainbow’ bus will be used on one of our busiest routes - the Red 1, which regularly serves Salisbury District Hospital.

We hope it reflects our huge respect and the pride we have in transporting key worker heroes - from teachers, nurses and retail staff to doctors, carers, refuse collectors and of course bus drivers - across the region.  It's people like you that make Salisbury such a great place to live and work.
