Changes to Burgate School buses from 2 November

After October half term, some changes will be introduced to Burgate School buses. Some services will take slightly different routes and some areas will be served by a different Burgate School bus to the one that does now.

Details of the changes and new timetables can be found below:

B1 - This bus will run non-stop to/from Burgate School after Wilton Road (Windsor Street).

B2 - This route will no longer serve the City Centre in the morning and will run via Churchill Way to West Harnham. It will serve all bus stops between Downton Road and Bodenham New Hall Hospital before running non-stop to Burgate School.

In the afternoon, it will run non-stop between Burgate School and Bodenham New Hall Hospital. Additionally, after West Harnham, this service will run through the City Centre.

B3 - This route will remain unchanged in the mornings and will be the only route from the City Centre. After St Osmund's School, it will run non-stop to/from Burgate School.

B5 - This route will remain unchanged in the morning, serving all stops between Bodenham and Burgate School. Students from Downton and Breamore will need to use this service. In the afternoon, the B5 will also serve the City Centre.

B6 - This route will run non-stop to/from Burgate School after Devizes Road (Gas Lane). During the Devizes Road gas works, it will divert and serve the Wilton Road (Windsor Street) bus stop as an alternative.

Students travelling into the City Centre in the afternoon will need to travel on the B2, B3 or B5.

Bus stops in Fisherton Street and Castle street will no longer be served. The closest alternative stop is Endless Street.
