Highways England are carrying out replacing lighting works together with the construction of a cycle way during the above dates. Although the works are to be carried out through the night from 20:00 ~ 06:00, the Bus Stops will need to be suspended 24/7. This is because pedestrians will not have access to the footpath throughout the works. (Letters to the local residents and business’s have been sent by Highways England, informing them of the situation) A Temporary Bus Stop will be located prior to the College Pedestrian Crossing. The Retail Park Bus Stop will be closed throughout. Customers for this location will either need to utilise the Temporary College Bus Stop or Tesco’s at Bourne Way. These works are being carried out on the Eastbound carriageway (Southampton Bound) the Westbound carriageway (City Bound) will be unaffected. We apologise for any inconvenience.
