Salisbury Reds Employee of the Year - Terry Monaghan!

Our annual employee awards night A Night with the Stars took place on Saturday 17th February at the Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton. Hosted by Managing Director, Andrew Wickham, and Wave 105 DJ, Rick Jackson, we celebrated all of our colleagues who have achieved long service with us in 2017, those who retired last year and all of our employees of the month.

We are pleased to announce that the Salisbury Reds Employee of the Year is Tourist Coaches driver, Terry Monaghan.

Terry was nominated as 'Credit to the Company' - our employee of the month - back in May 2017 for his excellent customer service!Terry originally started with Bells Coaches in 1989 and transferred to Tourist Coaches in the 1990s following a merger and acquisition by Wilts and Dorset. Terry has been an extremely popular colleague from the start of his career and has helped many aspiring young coach drivers in fulfilling their dream by passing on his valuable years of knowledge.

Never known to get flustered, Terry would always volunteer for the trips to the unknown and always delivered a very high standard to our customers. We are all very proud of Terry for the level of commitment and professionalism he has shown throughout his time with the company.

Sadly, Terry fell ill during 2017 and this has forced him to retire perhaps earlier than intended. We hope now that he can enjoy a long and relaxing retirement!

Well done Terry!
