January 2023 - Luke Chapman
Luke won this award for going above and beyond. Just 6 months into driving, Luke was greeted by a police road closure and had to turn around and find an alternative route. He remained calm and composed asking his passengers where they needed to go in order to plan the best route back. His actions caught the admiration of several passengers who contacted us to show their appreciation.
Feburary 2023 - David Lanham
David won this award for being a respectful, polite and hard working colleague who consistently performs well in his position. He shows up day in, day out to support the local community.
March 2023 - Robert Harris
Robert won this award for excellent customer service. A lady had lost her shopping bags, and Rob went back to the bus stop on his travels to find her bags and return them to her.
April 2023 - Peter Lewis
Peter won this award for going above and beyond. On top of being punctual and reliable, no task is too big or too small for Peter. He has saved time any money on accident repairs to vehicles, he is a steady and consistent worker with high standards, he will always take time to guide those that need support and is keen to pass skills on to apprentices.
May 2023 - Harry Mensah
Harry won this award for his excellent customer service. He was nominated for stopping to help a lady that was struggling with a child in a pushchair - small acts like this can go a long way!
June 2023 - Alan Jardine
Alan won this award for going above and beyond. A young child approached his bus with no parent or guardian in sight. Alan got the child seated on the bus to keep him out of harms way. He then contacted the police who then helped to make sure that he was returned to his parents. This initiative helped to safeguard a young child from potential danger.
July 2023 - Tony Bush
Tony won this award for going above and beyond. Tony's quick reactions when a car pulled out on him during service meant that no one on the bus or in the car involved were hurt although the vehicles collided. This and the attention he gave to his passengers attracted commendations.
August 2023 - Driver Training Team
Dylan, David and Antony jointly won the award this month for going above and beyond. They each give their all to every new colleague that joins Salisbury Reds. They are patient, professional and hardworking, always giving those under tuition their full attention. They work consistently as a team and ensure all training is covered within Salisbury.
September 2023 - Darren Lomas
Darren won this award for going above and beyond. He has a positive can do attitude and nothing is too much to ask. He is always willing to lend a helping had and always with a smile on his face.
October 2023 - Sarah Nelson
Sarah won this award for excellent customer service. Sarah's vehicle was subjected to an act of vandalism where one of the upstairs windows was smashed whilst passengers were on board. Sarah acted quickly, stopping somewhere safe to make sure all her passengers were ok. She showed great professionalism in a challenging situation.
November 2023 - Mark Borissoff
Mark won this award for going above and beyond. Due to issues with a vehicle, Mark agreed to stay on to cover a journey to take passengers home that missed a connection towards Swindon. Without his act of kindness, passengers would have been stranded in Malborough.
December 2023 - Helen Smith
Helen won this award for going above and beyond.
