We’re looking for customer focused individuals to sell Stonehenge Tour tickets during the Summer season.
You’ll be based at Salisbury Rail Station (one of the pick-up points of the Stonehenge Tour) selling tickets to customers on a mobile debit/credit card machine (full training will be given). Some knowledge of the area and Stonehenge would be beneficial.
A positive, flexible approach is necessary and good communication skills are essential when dealing with customers, many of whom will be tourists and new to the area.
This vacancy is ideally suited to individuals looking for temporary, seasonal work.
operates from Salisbury to Stonehenge & Old Sarum. Taking in the historic Salisbury City Centre & Wiltshire countryside customers onboard can learn about the area by listening to the fascinating audio commentary – which is available in 10 different languages.
Stonehenge is over 5,000 years old and one of the most sophisticated stone circles in the world. The bluestones were brought a staggering 240 miles from the Preseli Mountains in Wales. Stonehenge is surrounded in mystery and there are many stories of the significance of the stones; from an astronomical observatory, sacred rituals linked to the sun, successful crops or even the dead.
