
Amesbury
Amesbury is steeped in history and has very significant importance to the World Heritage sites. If you are visiting Amesbury then make sure you visit the Parish Church of St Mary and St Melor where you can learn about its connection with Amesbury Abbey which legend suggests was where Queen Guinevere retired to.
If you enjoy walking then there are a variety of walks including a short circular riverside stroll by Bonnymead Park or you could try one of the longer National Trust Stonehenge Heritage Walks.
